Detroit Muscle hits the Proof Nightclub decks this Friday!

June 12, 2012

This Friday we are proud to welcome a legend. Detroit Muscle, created by world renowned producer DJ Godfather takes over Proof for one night only!

Detroit Muscle is the brainchild of producer DJ Godfather. He is well known for his many accomplishments including winning 15th place in the Top 100 DJs by voters all over the world for America’s Best DJ, sponsored by DJ Times Magazine and Pioneer Pro DJ in 2011. He has been touring all over the world, with his turntable wizardry. Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, Canada and the U.S. have seen his performances. Accomplishments also include productions which have netted sales of over 750,000 12? vinyl records and hundreds of thousand of dollars in MP3 Sales along with numerous video game appearances with his music.

In the last year, official remixes under Detroit Muscle have been commissioned for Diplo, Aston Shuffle (Ministry Of Sound/Download), Bad Boy Bill, DJ Kontrol feat. Lil Jon and more. Under the name DJ Godfather, he has done official remixes for Dev, Fatboy Slim, DJ Laz feat. Pitbull, Daft Punk, Hyper Crush, DJ Class, DJ Serafin feat. Greg Nice (Nice N Smooth), Disco Fries to name a few.

The newest production by Detroit Muscle, “Up All Night” was inspired by all the party kids taking an Adderall to keep up longer and drinking on top of that. Detroit Muscle had a sick ass electro house track done and wanted to put a party vocal on it. A female with a hip swag was sought out for the vocal named Christina Chriss. The video was produced and shot by Scott Spellman and is now available along with the single. “Up All Night” reached #1 in 5 days on Serato’s MP3 download site for DJs, whitelabel.net!

Proof is proud to bring this Detroit based movement to the decks of the home of house music-- Chicago!

With opening sets by Rick Garcia and Kalendr, this is one night you'll stay from open until close.
